I bought 'the lighthouse' cd in 2004 after a really hard breakup. A few months after buying the cd, I put it into a box at my parents house and flew to Hong Kong for a year. Today, 3 years later, I have just opened that box. Rediscovering the cd brings back so many memories, both happy and sad, and it is without hesitation that this time round, the cd will be going into my suitcase and not back in a box! First of all to Amity, what an incredible accomplishment this album is. I saw her last show at the Sandringham last Tuesday and I have LITERALLY had the album on repeat since then. I have mentioned the album and Amity's extraordinary gift to everyone in my life. I just have so much respect for her as an artist and as a song writer. Her voice is pure magic but the emotion she pours into her work is just immeasurable. I am so grateful I had the opportunity to come and see her live. As soon as I read in TV week that Amity had a new CD I went to my local JB Hi -Fi and asked for it. I love “TRUE TO ME,” as it seems to have a little bit of everything on it. Amity’s voice can touch your soul, and not many singers can lay claim to that. Andrew

“I first really listened to your song "The Lighthouse" when my 12 year old daughter put a So Fresh CD on in the car. When I heard the words, I felt that they were so right for me, it was everything that I was feeling at the time. I bought your CD and must say that I love every song on it. My favourite is "One Wish" as the words are what I am feeling at the moment. Do you write your own songs? If not, whoever writes them must be a very special person.
